The key to success of INKPILOT® is the software’s focus on user demands and technological developments. That’s why the facelift means much more than a minor adjustment in detail. It’s the result of an in-depth customer release and offers new features at all levels. Starting from the new, modern user interface with an intuitive, touch-optimized menu navigation to a customized XML-based data exchange and finally a simplified and more compact result display.
The clearly structured user interface with self-explanatory icons automatically fits the screen size. Just click on a tile in the home menu to start the required application. With INKPILOT® 2.0, connectivity is much more extensive and easier, which is why no third-party software is necessary for an XML-based data exchange with PantoneLive, Color Drive, Excel and many other file formats. Data export can take place as requested by the customer, what results in further optimization of the collaboration. Thanks to the redeveloped database structure, the software’s performance is substantially higher. Job data handling performs three times faster, while the download speed of PantoneLive is significantly increased. Both, the measuring process of print samples and the menu navigation were simplified. The facelift is particularly clear in the visualization of the measuring results: instead of changing back and forth between the displays, they are presented comfortably in a single overview. With the optimized traffic light system, points that still require further action are immediately visible.
